Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair to leave the skin smoother and more refined.
Only one exfoliation method is used per facial to protect skin health and avoid over-exfoliation, ensuring the skin remains balanced, strong, and able to function at its best.
How it works:
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves gently exfoliating the skin using a sterile, surgical blade. This technique removes dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin.
Blade Application: A sterile, surgical blade is gently glided across the skin at a 45-degree angle. This removes the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair.
Post-Treatment Care: The skin is typically soothed with a calming mask or moisturiser.
Benefits:
Smoother Skin Texture: Removes dead skin cells, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion.
Improved Product Absorption: Exfoliated skin better absorbs skincare products, enhancing their effectiveness.
Vellus Hair Removal: Removes peach fuzz, resulting in a smoother appearance.

Manual Exfoliation Method
Dermaplaning can be included in the Restore Ritual or Cellstory Liquid Microneedling treatment as a form of manual exfoliation to support smoother skin and optimal product absorption, leaving the skin refined, soft, and radiant.
